Using apps without an account
Account sign-in is optional in Syllable and in Split Task's Android app. If you continue without backups or use guest mode, your app content stays in local storage on that device or browser and is not uploaded to Manumit for account sync.
Uninstalling an app or clearing its browser/app storage removes that local copy. Account deletion does not reach into devices to erase local-only or offline copies.
What a Manumit account syncs
A Manumit account is shared across supported apps. When you sign in and use sync, the account and synced product data are stored on Manumit's Cloudflare-hosted service:
- Account: your username and a password hash created on your device. Your plain-text password is not sent to the service.
- Split Task: synced tasks, events, categories, notes, and preferences/settings.
- Syllable: vocabulary progress needed to restore your deck, including encountered words, mastery scores, placement completion, and progress dates.
Using an account does not upload data from an app you have not signed into or chosen to sync.
Delete your Manumit account
Account deletion permanently removes your Manumit account and account-linked cloud data across supported apps, including synced Syllable progress and Split Task data. You must verify your username and password and confirm the permanent deletion.
Deletion removes the cloud account and does not automatically erase guest/offline data already stored on your devices. Clear local app/browser storage or uninstall the app separately if you also want to remove those copies.
Support requests
Support tickets are stored separately from Manumit account data, so deleting an account does not automatically delete a ticket you submitted. Resolved tickets are automatically removed after one year. To ask about a ticket, contact support.
